Fall Beauty Products Guide
One of the best things about Fall beauty is that we no longer have to cling to the light and bright colors of summer. As much fun as those colors are, it’s nice to welcome in the deep plums, burnt oranges, cranberries, olive greens, and warm neutrals that make fall feel so cozy.

Eyes
This fall it’s all about rocking richly pigmented versions of those colors. Use a burnt orange eyeshadow to kick your fall eye looks up a notch. Shadows like MAC’s Rule or Root’s Orange Crush are great shades.
| TIP | With a more intense color, make sure to start light and build up rather than piling it on right away!
And of course, fall is perfect for neutrals. Break out your favorite neutral eyeshadow palette for endless combinations of warm golds, browns, tans, bronzes, and coppers.
Are you surprised that Urban Decay’s Naked palette is a go-to this season? Me neither. Lorac’s Unzipped palette is excellent, too. If you’re a drugstore beauty shopper, Maybelline’s The Nudes is a solid choice. Swipe on those chocolates and suede-smooth warm browns to your heart’s content.
| TIP | Don’t forget to pop a little champagne highlight on!
Lips
When it comes to lips, this season is your all-access pass to Vamp-ville, ladies! Plums, berries, and burgundies rule. Revlon’s Black Cherry is a classic, affordable shade for a really dark lip. Or you can completely embrace the vampy side and kill it with a cult favorite, Kat Von D’s Studded Kiss Lipstick in Homegirl. If you’re looking to stay a little on the lighter side of the deep lip, give Bite Beauty’s Zin a try.
Skin Care
Okay, so we’ve covered getting all dolled up this season from a makeup angle. Let’s talk about how to make sure your skin stays soft, smooth, and supple despite the drier weather. Every beauty lover knows that skin care is just as important as the fun, pretty colors you get to play with. After all, having a healthy canvas makes the painting that much easier and more fun. When Fall rolls around, up the ante with your moisturizer, hydration, and making sure your hair feels the moisture love too. These are some of the most important things you can do to make sure you keep your glow year-round.
The best place to start in the search for the perfect moisturizer is by identifying your skin type. You’ll fall somewhere between dry, oily, and combination. Determining where you land will go a long way in helping you identify what to use for face wash, moisturizers, masks and beyond.
One of the best moisturizers for dry climates this time of year is Origins’ Night-A-Mins. If you don’t need quiiiiite that much oomph in your moisturizing regimen, Clinique’s Dramatically Different is an amazing choice for most skin types.
It’s easier to remember to give your skin some love, but sometimes it’s a little harder to remember to love on your hair in the Fall season. If you’re rocking a new, richer, darker color for Fall you want to make sure it keeps its shine long after the salon, right? Having a good hair mask by your side is the best way to make sure your locks stay shiny, strong, and properly hydrated. MorroccanOil’s Weightless Hydration mask is great if your hair needs a little extra boost. Their Restorative mask is good for when your hair is screaming MAYDAY at you. If those are a little too much for your budget, Shea Moisture Deep Condition Mask is a great budget-friendly one.
We’ve covered our bases. Now you’re ready to rock Fall with gorgeous rich shades and your most beautiful complexion yet. Throw on your blanket scarf and pull on your riding boots. There’s a pumpkin patch calling your name, gorgeous!
