It’s no wonder that in the middle of the winter your skin is probably feeling incredibly dry. As temperatures drop, so does the moisture level in your skin. Here’s the good news, there is something you can do about it! I have searched the market and found the best products to relieve you of your dry skin and give you back that coveted glow.
Winter Skin Care
Body Care

Lush USA | Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner
As someone who fights with dry skin all year long, I have learned that the secret to lasting success is that it all starts in the shower. Be sure to use a gentle body wash (I like Dove or Eucerin) and then lather Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner all over. It’s made with almond oil, cocoa butter, cupuacu butter and of course argan oils. Rise it off and pat dry out of the shower to reveal your softest skin ever! As an added bonus it also smells deliciously of rose petals!
L’Occitane | Shea Butter Ultra Riche Creame
Once your out of the shower it’s time to lock in all that moisture you just added. Use a thick but quick absorbing, non-greasy cream like the L’OCCITANE Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream. It is made with 25% shea butter and extract oils that leaving you feeling moisturized all day.
Face Serum

Kate Somerville | Quench Hydrating Face Serum
Next on to your face. It is extremely important to moisturize your skin everyday, especially your face, eyes and neck. Start off with a light but hydrating serum as your base. The Kate Somerville Quench Serum is one of my all time favorites. This serum has an “intense form Vitamin A” that not only helps fight signs of aging but also gives you a dewy fresh glow. Use this serum morning and night on your face and neck for best results!
Eye Care

Kiehl’s | Creamy Eye Treatment

Kiehl’s | Midnight Recovery Eye
Now it is very important that the serum completely absorbs into your skin before you move on to your facial moisturizer. I love to take this opportunity to put on my eye cream. Eyes are a part of your body that take a lot of wear and tear during the day so it’s important to keep the skin around them feeling fresh and tight. I recommend having a different morning and nighttime eye cream. In the morning you want something light that is going to absorb quickly and not fight back against whatever makeup you’ll be layering on over. The Keihl’s Creamy Under Eye Treatment with Avocado is just that. It is light and refreshing and doesn’t migrate once you put it on. At night I love to use Keihl’s Midnight Recovery Eye. It is specifically formulated to aid in puffiness, dark circles and fine lines all while you sleep. It is perfect for those nights when you might not get your full eight hours!
Face Moisturizer

Belif | The true cream – aqua bomb
Finally your face moisturizer. I find this to be a very tricky subject because everyone’s skin is so different. One of the best products I’ve come across is the Belif True Cream Aqua Bomb daily moisturizer. It has a gel like consistency that is ultra lightweight and hydrates skin while providing a cooling, fresh effect. It also helps to improve skin elasticity and minimize your pores. It sinks into your skin so fast and leave you feeling hydrated all day.

Smith’s | Rosebud Salve
Finally all you need is some super strong lip balm, I love the Rosebud Salve which also doubles as a quick moisturizer and (any moms out there) a remedy for diaper rash. Throw it in your bag on your way out, or have two like I do, and you’re good to go!
Taking care of your skin in colder, drier months in crucial to fight back against signs of aging and just general discomfort from being so dry. It’s also important to drink tons of water (which is my number one secret for perfect skin). There are also some great hydrating skin masks on the market, I love the Sephora brand ones. Also, adding a humidifier to your room while you sleep while help your skin retain some moisture.
